This tour can start either in the capital or in Keflavík (airport). It starts off with a visit to Grindavík, one of the largest fishing towns in Iceland, where you can visit Saltfish Museum (optional). Then the tour heads west along the peninsula and to a hot spring area called Gunnuhver . There is the oldest lighthouse in the country, Reykjanesviti , where one can see magnificent birdlife. The bridge between two continents, North America and Europe, is finally the last stop before heading back to Reykjavik or Keflavik .
